Lowe's Landscaping Services, LLC has an established customer base offering landscape services to both commercial and residential clients in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
In the summer of 2011 Joshua began doing small landscaping jobs for family and neighbors. The work he loved doing ran the gamut from mowing and fertilizing to seeding lawns and mulching. He even tried his hand at pruning shrubs and trimming ornamental trees.
From 2011 to 2015 Joshua attended Essex Agricultural & Technical High School in Hathorne, MA as a student in the Plant Science Program. While there, he received extensive training in landscape construction, turf management, landscape design and installation, landscape equipment operation, arboriculture, and ornamental horticulture.
While at Essex Aggie, he was an active member of the Essex chapter of the FFA (Future Farmers of America) where he won 1st place in the Massachusetts State FFA Turfgrass Competition. While still a student in high school, Joshua became OSHA-10 certified in construction safety and health. He also became a licensed pesticide applicator in Massachusetts.
In 2012 Joshua officially established his company, Lowe's Landscaping Services.
In 2015 Joshua attended UMass Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture, majoring in Landscape Contracting. In 2015 Joshua's father, David, retired from law enforcement and helped Joshua with his business while he was away at college. Joshua would come home every weekend to continue growing his business. Later that year, Joshua expanded the business by offering winter services to all his clients.
Joshua graduated from UMass Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture in 2017 with high honors and an associate degree in landscape contracting. That same year Joshua's childhood friend, Matt, joined Lowe's Landscaping Services, LLC as an employee. Matt is also a graduate of Essex Technical High School’s Plant Science Program and is continuing to work toward his associate degree in landscape horticulture.
Joshua is also licensed as a hoist operator.

FROM OWNER JOSHUA LOWE
I take pride in my work and running a successful landscaping business and feel proud knowing that I have many loyal customers that refer me to their friends and relatives. I have learned that running a business is challenging work, takes up a lot of my free time, and involves more paperwork then I envisioned, but I really enjoy working outdoors. I believe that attending college and receiving a degree in Landscaping Contracting at UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture helped me achieve my goals. It provided me with the knowledge and skills I needed to become a professional and successful landscape contractor. I am thankful for the support my family, friends, classmates, teachers, and coworkers have shown to me. I look forward to the future for the continued success and the growth of Lowe’s Landscaping Services, LLC.
